Attending not a lynching, but an official hanging party.

                       KEN LYNCH

If one were to throw gravel and sandpaper

down into the most severe sore throat,
the sound that would issue from that maw
would be Ken Lynch's voice.
It rasps in these radio Gunsmoke episodes:

May 27, 1956            'Man Hunter'
April 19, 1959            'Third Son'
June 14, 1959             'Kitty's Kidnap'
July 26, 1959             'Old Beller'
March 20, 1960       'The Constable'

April 9, 1961             'Hangman's Mistake'

Picture
Closer to being... not lynched, but hanged.

Ken Lynch appeared in the following episodes

of the radio version of Have Gun-Will Travel:

'The Five Books Of Owen Deaver'
          'Homecoming'
          'Nellie Watson's Boy'
          'Talika'

          'The Map'

          For the visually-minded,
Ken Lynch also appeared in twelve
television episodes of Gunsmoke.
